Heidi Hadley’s Radio Interview REPLAY

Hello! I hope your week has been good. xx This is an extra little blog for the week! xx

This week, I had the absolute pleasure of joining DJ Neil Long on his Midday Show for a really heartfelt and thought provoking conversation. We explored topics that sit at the very core of my work, Clinical Somatics, Nervous System regulation, epigenetics, and what true wellbeing really means in our modern world.

It was one of those conversations that flowed easily, curious, open, and grounded in helping people better understand their bodies rather than feeling frustrated or disconnected from them.

During the interview, we spoke aboutClinical Somatics and how it supports people living with chronic pain, recurring injuries, poor posture, stress related tension, and reduced mobility. We discussed how so many people are unknowingly stuck in patterns of muscular contraction driven by stress, trauma, repetitive movement, and long term lifestyle habits, and how gentle, intentional somatic movement can help reset the brain body connection.

We also touched on epigenetics, which always sparks so much interest. I shared how our environment, thoughts, movement habits, stress levels, and daily choices influence how our genes express themselves. This is incredibly empowering because it reminds us that we are not broken or stuck. Our bodies are adaptable, responsive, and capable of positive change when given the right input.

What I really loved about this interview was the opportunity to highlight that wellbeing is not about pushing harder, stretching more, or striving for perfection. It is about listening differently. It is about working with the nervous system, not against it, and creating safety, awareness, and ease in the body.
