Hello! How have you been throughout the week? It has been fantastic to connect with you. If you haven’t joined my the Somatic in September 2020 private Facebook group, there is still plenty of time. It is available to join until the end of September 2020. This private Facebook group has been created to support ones who would like focus and clarity in the areas of pain relief, improved movement and better posture. I will be creating steps to help you develop a deeper, more somatic or holistic approach to noticing and tweaking your current habits and behaviours, to healthier ones that will improve your overall health and wellbeing.
This week I would like to increase your somatic awareness to your posture. What is your dominant posture? Do you notice if your shoulders are rounded? Does your head jut forward? Maybe you find that your shoulders draw back, creating a broad chest. Maybe you have noticed you have a “sway back” which causes your bottom to stick out. Did you know that these postures are linked with your emotions and also what we were considering last week, your thoughts and how your nervous system deals with stress and challenges?

During this week, I will be delving deeper into this area with the Somatic in September 2020 private Facebook group. Within this group I will be creating steps to help you develop a deeper, more somatic or holistic approach. I will be teaching you what to notice and how to change your dominant posture which may be contributing towards your muscular pain, joint discomfort, limited mobility and further limitations.

Would you like to be involved with the FREE Total Somatic Movement experience from Wednesday 23rd September until Wednesday 30th September? Within the Somatic in September 2020 private Facebook group, I will be helping implement the support material that is being emailed to ones that have sent their email address to me. I will be helping deepen your experience of Somatic movement with implementation. Implementation is crucial to making changing in your health and wellbeing.
