Bringing Total Somatics to You!
If you follow me on Facebook (@totalsomatics) or Instagram (@total_somatics) you will be aware that I have launched a brand new online program. I have packaged together Movement Patterns Part 1 which has been available online for 12 months with the latest program, Movement Patterns Part 2. The two programs allow you 24 weeks online access at your own pace in the comfort of your own home. Together they are known as “The Total Somatics Approach to Health and Wellness.”
The Total Somatics Approach to Health & Wellness will teach you the principles and skills for Somatic movement to allow you to feel the following benefits:

- Improved posture
- Increased mobility
- Increased muscle length WITHOUT stretching
- Accelerates your muscle recovery after exercise

- Slow down the stress response which creates anxiety and tense/tight muscles.
- Lowers Blood Pressure
- Improves Sleep patterns
- Reduces symptoms within your digestive system which are often associated with stress
- Shrinkage and reduction in activity of your amygdala (“fight or flight” stress response). This area is associated with fear and anxiety.
- Thickens your prefrontal cortex. This area is associated with focus, awareness, concentration, decision making and emotional intelligence.
- It increase your emotional resilience to stressful or challenging events.
- Application of mindfulness skills in different situations and scenarios.
This online program has been created from the feedback and requests I have received over the years. I have created a “layered learning” approach. So I teach you skills and knowledge in digestible amounts to help you absorb and apply what you learn online to your daily Somatics Practise and Pursuits.
You will also find downloadable support material and Podcasts to teach you all about Health and Wellness. I will also introduce you to Dr Sarah Wilson. Together Sarah and I discuss subjects which have a huge effect on our Health and Well being. You will really feel all areas of your Somatic (mind and body) health has been addressed. This knowledge and skill set will empower and educate you so you can take back control of your health.
